CHAR B1 BIS

When World War II began in 1939, the B1 bis was considered as the most heavily-armed and best-protected heavy tank in the world.
Although produced in a too small quantity, it remained one of the main assets of the French army during the campaign of 1940, especially during several victorious counter-offensives, some of which led by Colonel de Gaulle.

On display at Saumur tank museum.
